Negotiation Skills

Get Yourself A Pay Raise - $29.90

get a pay raise

Career Experts agre that you don't always get what you deserve, but you do always get what you NEGOTIATE!

You already know this, don't you? The frustration of feeling underpaid and the anger of knowing you should be making more.

Also, the nervousness - considering you don't want to get fired, but you know you need to ask for a raise ... Do you know how much you should ask for? When is the best time to ask? What type of letter should you write?

How are you going to collect your proof and how do you present your case to your boss? ... Do you ask for a promotion, or just a salary increase? ... And how do you negotiate for the most you can get? ...

Negotiate Your Way to a Better Salary

After you have received the job offer you might feel that the package needs improving in order for you to accept the position.

So what could you do to improve the situation?

Wherever possible, don't try to negotiate immediately after an offer. Make sure you ask for the offer to be put in writing and then try to delay any negotiations for the longest possible time.

When you've got the job offer in writing you can respond by acknowledging receipt of the offer and making it clear that you will confirm your acceptance within (say) 7 days. This could be longer if necessary but better to let them know if you are going on holiday for instance.

Now you have gained yourself some time, use it constructively to investigate the average salary of people in similar positions.

You could even contact other companies in your area if they are advertising similar vacancies. Use the internet - a search will quickly throw up various websites and salary calculators you can use.

Break down the full package you have been offered and make sure you have clearly identified which areas of the package you would like to see improved.

Ebay Powerseller Challenge Reviewed

John is an ebay Powerseller who maintains in his e-book "The 90 Day Powerseller Challenge" that he can make you an ebay Powerseller in 90 days.
When I read the ebook, I found it a good read with lots of little tips and ideas that seem so simple when you've read them that you wonder why you didn't think of them before.

The strength of his book lies in the fact that he can prove his own success as a powerseller and you can read all of his customer feedback on the ebay site. So you know that what he tells you does work. In fact he is classed as a "Titanium Powerseller" and this is the highest level.

John concentrates on selling e-books and in his challege he explains why this is a good business proposition and describes everything you need to do and the reasons behind why you need to do what he recommends. Obviously you need an Ebay account and a payPal account, but he also explains how you can make your email work like an autoresponder to deliver your digital goods once they are paid for. This one tip alone is worth hours of work saved.

More listing tips, such as aiming to end your auctions on a Sunday evening really do pay off and the way he gets repeat visitors coming back to buy again is a real eye-opener.

Overall I rate this e-book as excellent and you will learn a lot about how to make a good income in the same way that thousands already do just by following this guide.
